Where it all began…

In August 2017, Wildflower Foods Company co-founders Jenna and Kelton were deep in the backcountry of Bryce Canyon, Utah on a 9 day backpacking trip. With heavy packs and many miles between themselves and their next camp site, every backpacker knows there’s no better way to spend the time than endless random conversation. We love playing the question game: if you could only watch one movie for the rest of your life, what would it be? If you could only eat 5 foods what would they be? If you were a character on the show Lost who would you be? And so on… until they arrived at the question “If you could start your own company, what would it be”? Jenna’s answer: a nutritional foods company that would sell healthy and energizing on-the-go snacks. When they returned home to Indianapolis, Jenna began experimenting with different flavors and combinations of oats, nuts, superfoods, and spices. When the results were better than we could have ever expected, we thought we should share our creations with Indianapolis. And with that… Wildflower Foods Company was born!

We’re a small business currently selling in Indianapolis with big plans for growth. Our story is just beginning! We absolutely love talking to customers and fellow farmers market lovers at the Garfield Park Farmers Market Saturday mornings, 9-12:30 pm. Come visit us! Our schedule is on our home page and our contact us page.
